Data Issues
How is Snap-Plus data stored?
Snap-Plus uses a relational database system called FlashFiler for storing user data. The data is stored in database tables, and each set of tables is referred to in Snap-Plus as a Snap-Plus database. Each Snap-Plus database is stored in a separate folder, and you can create as many Snap-Plus databases as you need.
The program comes with a default database folder called "farmTables" which is stored in the Snap-Plus directory "MySnapPlusData". Many users will not need more than this; however, you can create, copy or switch between databases using the menu choices under the "File" menu on the Snap-Plus menu bar near the top of the screen.
If you are doing planning for multiple clients, you should create a separate database for each client. This will make it much easier for you to exchange Snap-Plus data with clients without exposing every client's data to everyone.
Snap-Plus data files with extension .FF2 cannot be opened by any application other than Snap-Plus. Do not attempt to view or modify them with any program other than Snap-Plus.
